Christmas Gift Tags

Hello! There's another challenge up for Christmas Card Challenges. This week is Anything Goes.

I made gift tags for Christmas with my husband's family this year and really enjoyed it so I decided to try and make some throughout the year so I could use them for everyone's gifts in 2014! I used a snowflake embossing plate (I think it might be from Taylored Expressions, but am not sure, sorry!) The Joy snowflake from JustRite was embossed with gold embossing powder. The paper is CTMH Aspen, the sentiment is from Verve.

Thanks for looking! I hope you continue to play along with us for 2014!!

Peace

Hello again! There is another challenge up at Christmas Card Challenges. This week our optional challenge is to make a masculine card.

I love the Winter Wishes paper pack from Echo Park and even though it has a touch of purple in it, I loved the plaid paper for a masculine card. I colored this cute snowman from CTMH with copics and then added Stickles to his hat and ground and then glossy accents to the bird, and his nose and buttons. The sentiment is from Verve and is embossed in silver. I used Deconstructed Sketch #130.

Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to play along. Have a safe and Merry Christmas on Wednesday!

Happy Birthday Bailey Bee!

Hard to believe it, but my sweet little Bailey turns 4 today!

Bailey loves all things princess, which is fitting since she is quite the strong willed princess herself! My husband says her stubbornness reminds him of someone, but I have no idea what he means...

Maybe that's why I loved this Queenie and Princess image from Saturated Canary as soon as I saw it. I decided to practice coloring with Distress Markers for this image. Overall I liked it. I added a bunch of Stickles and Glossy Accents to the image. The paper is Webster's Pages: Allison Kreft Recorded. I thought the crown border die from MFT was also fitting. Some bling and Verve seam binding ribbon finished it off. The sentiment is AmyR and you can't really tell it in the pics but after I stamped it I embossed with clear embossing powder and glitter. It is really, really sparkly in person!

Oozak's Challenge #28: Something old, something new is fitting for this card. It's a new image colored with new markers with a paper pad I've had for awhile. Well, gotta go. I have to clean my house for a PARTY!!

Let It Snow

I'm back again today with the next Christmas Card Challenge: Make words your focal point.

This challenge was an easy one for me thanks to the great sentiment blocks in the Simple Stories: Handmade Holiday paper pads. The sketch is Sweet Sunday #199. I added some rock candy Distress Stickles to the "snow" It has really cool texture, I like it! Along with some CTMH buttons I added a die cut snowflake and star that I also used the rock candy on.

Super simple! I hope you have a chance to join us, and check out my ABC Challenge card from earlier today!

Christmas Memories

Hello, I have another card to share with you for ABC Challenges. It's time for B for Bows, Blue and Bling.

We're sponsored by Stamp Fairy and I colored this cute Santa and his moose friend up with my Copics. Even Santa got involved in the challenge with his sparkling hat and suit. The paper and sentiment strip are from MME: Winter Wonderland. Some CTMH white yarn and a blinged up snowflake finish it off.

Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to join us! I'll be back later this morning with my card for Christmas Card Challenges.

Black & White Christmas

Hello! It's time for another Christmas Card Challenge. This week our optional challenge is Black & White.

Wow, challenge was right! I really struggled with this card and then decided I needed to focus on keeping it simple. The Nativity border die and the verse are both from Taylored Expressions. I used a Lil Inker Designs die for the stitched border of the card and some misc ribbon and button finish it off. Super simple, but I like it!

I hope you have a good week! Thanks for looking, and check out the challenge blog for the other DT cards!

Peace and Joy

Hello! I'm back today with another card for Christmas Card Challenges. I am really so thankful for being on the team, I am still in awe that I am stocked up for Christmas cards!! Anyways, our optional challenge for this week is No Stamping.

I used patterned paper from Simple Stories: December Documented, and used one of the papers as the focal image. The sketch is Sweet Sunday Sketch #198, just added some ribbon and a bow! The cute snowflake brad came from a past KI kit.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello! It's December and time for another ABC Challenge! We're starting over at A for Almost Christmas. This challenge is sponsored by the Paper Shelter.

I love their Christmas images and used this sweet one of Santa and his friend Rudolph, colored with Copics. The patterned paper is from the Paper Studio: Santa & Friends and the sentiment is from AmyR stamps. Of course I added Stickles to Santa's hat and coat as well as Rudolph's nose. Some pearls and ribbon finish it off!

Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to play along.
