#1 Teacher

Hello, I hope your Memorial weekend is going well! Mine has been wonderful, even though I got my wisdom teeth pulled Friday... Maybe it's because I've actually had to relax so my mouth doesn't hurt : ) It all has definately given me time to think about what's important and to give thanks for all the brave men and women who serve!

As I was working on gift card holders for graduations ( I feel like I can do these in my sleep now!) I realized that Caleb's last day of school is Tuesday, and I hadn't made a card for him to give his teacher yet. He absolutely loved kindergarten and truly loved his teacher. I cannot imagine the patience that woman has... Caleb talks non-stop at home, I couldn't handle 24 more like him! Definately need to thank her!

I am so loving this card, it is so pretty in real life. I used May's Sketch For You to Try. Thanks for looking and have a great rest of your weekend!

Mother's Day Tilda

Hello! I placed an order for a bunch of Tilda's about a month ago (ATS had a coupon code and I couldn't resist, lol) So I've been busy coloring lately, love them!! I used Sketch Saturday #153. I also used A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge #150 to use white and 1 other color... I chose blue : ) This card is also my submission for the ATS Wednesday Challenge: May Anything Goes. Thanks for looking!

A glimpse into my future....

I haven't made a card in a month! GASP!! I have been coloring images like crazy though, so hopefully the cards will follow soon! Work has been a zoo and coloring has definately been my therapy! This image was definately a fun one to color, it's how I feel after work most days anymore : ) When Caleb saw it tonight he asked, "Why is that lady so old?" I asked him if he thought I would look like that when I'm an old nurse, after thinking about it he said no, lol. I used April's SFYTT (running out of time, again!) and it's also my first time playing with the Color Cue. I'll have to play again, it definately got me thinking out of my usual box- love the red and turquiose!

Cowboy Blessings

Hello, I finally had time to finish a card!! Three months into the Sketch For You To Try monthly challenge, and I'm already hurrying to get a card entered by the end of the month! This card is for my dad's birthday tomorrow so perfect timing anyways. The cute image is from Bugaboo, love him! He's colored with Copics, but of course I can't find the list of colors (I did find the list from the last card that I couldn't find, lol) I think I need to get a notebook to use instead of paper scraps : )

Paper: CTMH Free Spirit (only the back piece is stitched cuz my bobbin thingy ran out and I couldn't figure out how to put it back in, I'll have to wait for my husband to come home from work and change it for me, lol)

CTMH Ribbon, BoBunny Blessed Chipboard sticker

Sitting Pretty

Yay it's Friday!! I was running out of time to get my Valentine's in the mail, so I had to spend some time last night in my scrap room working away, sigh... This one will be going to Arizona to my grandma. She isn't much for the Iowa winter so she heads south : ) We sure do miss her though and I'm sure this card will make her smile! I used Friday Sketchers #140 (this week's is great too, I'll have to play again later!) All That Scraps has a great Wednesday Challenge: to make a Valentine with no pink or red. There is a tiny bit of red for the roses- but all the other flowers are more orange than they look in the picture. I also used Cute Card Thursday's challenge 151- Hearts & Flowers and Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #104- Button up! I hope you all have a great weekend, thanks for taking the time to look at my card : )
