With Sympathy

Hello! Lately I haven't gotten around to sharing cards that I've made that haven't been for one of the DT's I'm on. But I'm hoping to change that starting today!

Unfortunately I've needed quite a few sympathy cards recently at work. This is the most recent one (although I'm working on another tonight...) I used Sweet Stop Sketch #212 for this card. The paper is Echo Park: For the Record 2. I used a mixture of stamps, the birds are from an Inkadinkado set I picked up at Michaels. Definitely doesn't stamp as clean as my loved Verve vine stamp. The sentiment is TE.

Thanks for looking!

Noel

Hello, it's Sunday and I have another card for Christmas Card Challenges. This week's optional challenge is stitching.

I chose to use faux stitching on my card using some dies from Lil Inker Designs. I love their stitched dies and have used them so much lately, unfortunately most of my cards lately haven't made their way onto my blog... I'm hoping to work on that. I used gold embossing powder and an AmyR stamp for the sentiment. I decided to cover my die cut snowflake with gold ink and also used it to ink around the edges of my card. Note to self, next time use the embossing powder instead of ink... I had gold ink everywhere because it took so long to dry! I used Deconstructed Sketch # 102, although it ended up quite altered.

Well thanks for looking! Have a wonderful holiday weekend in the US!

Peace & Goodwill

Hello! I'm back with another card for Christmas Card Challenges! The optional challenge this week is Candles.

I used a super sweet digi image from ATS and colored her with my Copics. It doesn't show the best in the pics, but I attempted to add a yellow candle glow to her face without making her look jaundiced : ) The paper is 7 Gypsies: Santa's Journey and the sentiment is once again from my much loved PTI Signature Christmas set. I used some misc pearls and ribbon to finish it off. The sketch is Deconstructed Sketch #101

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along!

Not Just One

Hello again! I'm dropping in with another card for ABC Challenges. We're on to N for Not Just One, use more than one embellishment on your card.

I got my motivation to color back, yay! I got out my Copics and searched YouTube for my favorite coloring videos and just sat and colored. This cutie is from Stamp Fairy, one of the challenge sponsors. I realized as I was uploading this card that it's pretty much the same layout as my card on Sunday... guess I had it on my brain! The paper Fancy Pants: Park Bench from last months KI kit, along with the ribbon. I used a MFT die for the flowers and some CTMH brads. I added some Stickles to the flowers and brads.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to join us!

Peace, Joy, Love

Hello, there is another challenge up at Christmas Card Challenges! This week the optional challenge is a color combo: Teal, Brown, and Cream.

Some of the papers in the My Mind's Eye: All is Bright collection were a perfect fit for the challenge. I kept it simple again, I haven't had any mojo to color images lately, hopefully that won't last long! I used a Spellbinders die for the frame for the Verve sentiment. A couple MFT snowflakes, CTMH brads, and TE button and ribbon finish it off.

Thanks for looking and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, enjoy your day!

Circle Christmas

Hello again! I'm just popping in quickly to share a card for this week's Christmas Card Challenges: make a shaped card.

I used a Spellbinder's die to make my little circle notecard. The paper is CTMH Hollydays. I thought the sentiment from PTI was fitting for my little card. I don't have a holly die.... yet, lol. So I diecut 3 small circles and attempted to hand cut the leaves... I added some white ink to the edges and stickles to the berries and leaves.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along!

Sparkling Tilda

Hello! It's time for another challenge at ABC Challenges: M for Make it Sparkle.
I will be the first to admit that my sparkle didn't photograph well... sorry, it's there! I was so excited that the weather was actually decent recently and I can take pictures outside occasionally.

I colored Tilda with my copics and then added some Stickles to her wings and some accents to her dress with a Spica pen. The paper is an old pack from CTMH, I can't remember the name. I used a MS punch for the border. Some misc ribbon and pearls, Prima flowers, and a CTMH brad finish it off.

Thanks for looking, I hope you are able to play along and show us your bling!
