Birthday Girl

Hello! I made this card for my mom to give a friend for her birthday. I was given instructions to not "make the card mean just because it's her 60th birthday." I don't think this cutie could be mean if she wanted to : ) I used last week's Deconstructed Sketch, although I did flip the embellies a bit. This is also my submission for ATS Wednesday Challenge: anything goes. While I was looking through some of the past challenge's I was shocked to find one of my cards had won week 75 and I didn't know it... oops! Figured that one out a little late! Lesson learned: if I'm going to enter a challenge I should probably keep better track of them, lol.

Summer Flowers

Hello, I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Mine could not have been better. I even had time in my craft room. I made this card for my mom to give a former co-worker who is retiring. This card came together really quickly and is super cute in person! I used Taylored Expressions sketch #141.

Craig and Lysia's Goodbye...

Hello! I am so bummed at myself.... I had this card made 3 weeks ago and was so proud that I wasn't waiting until the last minute to play along with Jen's Sketch For You To Try... But here it is the last day in June and I am FINALLY getting around to getting it edited and posted...oops : ) My parent's pastor and his wife are moving, they are both such wonderful people and will definately be missed. He was truly one of the greatest blessings after Gabe's death and I will never forget him. So of course there is so much love put into this goodbye card : ) I colored the little cutie with Copics and cut out his head and popped up the bottom so he really is peeking out. The box is paper pieced with kraft cardstock with some shadowing with copics.

This card is also my submission for Heart 2 Heart's color challenge, although I did add some cocoa ribbon, and The Paper Shelter's anything goes challenge (seriously LOVE those images, gotta get me some!)

#1 Teacher

Hello, I hope your Memorial weekend is going well! Mine has been wonderful, even though I got my wisdom teeth pulled Friday... Maybe it's because I've actually had to relax so my mouth doesn't hurt : ) It all has definately given me time to think about what's important and to give thanks for all the brave men and women who serve!

As I was working on gift card holders for graduations ( I feel like I can do these in my sleep now!) I realized that Caleb's last day of school is Tuesday, and I hadn't made a card for him to give his teacher yet. He absolutely loved kindergarten and truly loved his teacher. I cannot imagine the patience that woman has... Caleb talks non-stop at home, I couldn't handle 24 more like him! Definately need to thank her!

I am so loving this card, it is so pretty in real life. I used May's Sketch For You to Try. Thanks for looking and have a great rest of your weekend!

Mother's Day Tilda

Hello! I placed an order for a bunch of Tilda's about a month ago (ATS had a coupon code and I couldn't resist, lol) So I've been busy coloring lately, love them!! I used Sketch Saturday #153. I also used A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge #150 to use white and 1 other color... I chose blue : ) This card is also my submission for the ATS Wednesday Challenge: May Anything Goes.
