Peace

Hello again! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Now it's time to get ready for next year, lol. Hopefully you'll join us at the Christmas Card Challenge blog to help you be prepared with cards at least! Our challenge for this week is paint.

I had the perfect card made for this challenge... so cute and painted pretty. Unfortunately, while I was trying to transfer it from my camera to PhotoDraw to be edited, all my pictures were lost and I had already given the card away : ( Luckily I had this card already edited... does Stickles count as paint?? Yeah, I didn't think so either!

I used more of my all time favorite Simple Stories paper. The cute snowman is from CTMH, the sentiment is AmyR stamps. The snowflakes and stars are a mix of Taylored Expressions and Cuttlebug dies.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to join us!

I'm playing along with Cute Card Thursday 249: Anything goes, and Chocolate, Coffee & Cards 29: Snowmen

Jingle All The Way

Hello everyone, Merry Christmas Eve Eve, as my son is calling it! I hope you all are able to spend time with family for the holiday. Maybe squeeze in some stamping time to play along with us at Christmas Card Challenges?? This week we want to see bells on your creation.

I had every intention of picking up some bells to add to a card, but last week at work was awful and I just didn't have any energy after work to go shopping. So I stamped some bells from Verve stamps. The sentiment is from the same set. I used a CTMH paper pack, misc twine, ribbon, and pearls. The star is a Sizzix die and I added Stickles to the edges to make it pop a bit.

Thanks for looking! Enjoy your Sunday and play along!

Joyeux Noel

Hello again! I'm back with another card for Christmas Card Challenges. This week's challenge is to use doilies.

Unfortunately I'm the only person in the crafting world who doesn't own a doily (I have some dies picked out to solve that problem, lol!) So I thought I would try to make a "snowflake doily." I punched out a TON of snowflakes from a Taylored Expressions die and layered them to hopefully get the doily effect : )

I colored this sweet Magnolia image with my Copics and added Stickles again to the star. The sentiment is from AmyR stamps. The paper and ribbon are from last year's Christmas card kit from TE.

Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to join in our challenge.

Holly Jolly Mischief!

Hello! It's the 15th of the month already, which means it's time for another ABC Challenge. December is fast getting away from me, I have bought a total of 1 Christmas present so far this year... I'm running out of time I know! Our tree and my nativity scene are up at least. I still have to put the rest of the ornaments on the tree though. Maybe the challenge will get me in the mood, it's Deck the Halls!

I absolutely love this image from Stampendous, I had to have it as soon as I saw it! It sooo reminds me of my 2 little munchkins! I paired it with some paper from CTMH- Hollydays. I cut the sentiment out of one of the papers. The ribbon and snowflake button are from an old KI kit, and some Doodlebug pearls finish it off! I added Stickles to the star and pearl Distress paint on the popcorn.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along! Make sure to see the rest of the DT cards on the challenge blog.

To Die For

Hello again! It's time for another Christmas Card Challenge, and this one's To Die For. Use any of the great dies you have lying around. Easy enough, right? Check out all the details on the CCC blog!

For my card I used a few different dies. The tag is a die from Sizzix and I layered 2 snowflakes dies from Taylored Expressions over a circle from Spellbinders. Although there are a couple lace border dies I've been eyeballing, the border is one of my trusty Martha Stewart punches. Although it isn't traditional I think blue and brown is one of my favorite Christmas color combos. The paper is from CTMH Aspen. The main sentiment is from Verve and the Christmas Blessings is from Taylored Expressions. Some misc ribbon, twine, and pearl sticker finish it off. I used Mojo Monday #270 for the sketch.

As always, thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along!

I'm also entering this card into Sweet Stampin's challenge to use punches or dies (great minds think alike!) and Fab n' Funky's challenge non-traditional Christmas
