Goodwill to Men

Hello! Sorry my post is going up late this morning, went to bed with a headache and woke up thinking, "Oh shoot!"
It's time for another Christmas Card Challenge! This week our optional challenge is Red, White, and Brown.

I really love this color combo and how my card turned out. I colored Tilda with my copics. The paper pack is Echo Park: Very Merry Christmas. The sentiment is from AmyR stamps. It's hard to tell in the picture, but I used a MFT border die on the bottom of the red panel. Some CTMH ribbon and pearls finish it off.

I hope you have a great Sunday and have a chance to play along this week! Thanks for looking!

My Friend

Hello! I'm back with another card for Christmas Card Challenges! This week our challenge is a sketch, check it out on the challenge blog. I love sketches, they are a great starting place!

My card uses a cute image from Stamp Fairy, colored with my copics. The sentiment is from Gina K designs. I used last year's Christmas card kit from TE for the patterned paper, sorry I don't know what collection it's from. The flower die is from MFT. I left this one as a winter card, I'll be able to turn it into a Christmas, birthday, or thank you card.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your week ahead!

Angel Valentine

Hello! I had some time to stamp today and thought I'd stop in and share quick.

I originally sat down to make a baby card for a friend, but decided after I put the papers together that it looked more like a Valentine's day card, so I changed images and made a card for my mom to give a friend. The angel is from The Cottage Stamper. I colored her with my copics. The papers are Crate Paper- Paper Heart from a past KI kit. A dear friend from work made me the beautiful crochet heart. I used Deconstructed Sketch #85 for the layout. I used a MFT border die in place of the scallops in the sketch and added little bling to it.

Thanks for looking! Hopefully I'll be inspired for a baby card tomorrow, lol!

Grandma's Tilda

Hello again, I hope your week has had a good start! I started the Kosama exercise class last night, and oh my, I can already tell it's going to be a very painful day! And to think I have to do it all over again tonight... the next 4 weeks need to be done fast!

Anyways, on to happier notes... it's time for another ABC Challenge. Today's challenge is F for your Favorite Tilda. It's no secret many of us DT girls love our Tilda's! Ink yours up and play along with us.

I used the sweet Traveling Tilda to make a card for my mom to give my grandma. She received very good news at a doctor's appointment yesterday and we're all very excited. I colored Tilda with copics and used Simple Stories Fabulous papers along with some gems and ribbon from a past KI kit. A CTMH swirl and Prima flowers finish it off.

Thanks for looking, check out the rest of the DT creations at the challenge blog and grab your Tilda's to play along!

I'm also playing along with Magnolia-licious' Anything goes challenge.

Silhouette Wisemen

Hello again and happy Sunday! I'm back with another Christmas Card Challenge. This week our challenge is to use silhouettes (remember, the challenges are optional, details on the challenge blog!)

I tried to keep my card pretty simple and quick, no coloring. The wise men are from Taylored Expressions. There is a silhouette of the nativity in the set also, maybe I'll use those 2 stamps for a few cards to "mini-mass" produce. You can't tell in the picture, but I used 2 different blue inks on the image. The paper is Aspen from CTMH. The sentiment is from the TE set also. I thought the crown border die from MFT would be perfect for the kings. As usual, some misc ribbon and a button finish it off.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to join us!

Thank You Wren

Hello everyone! I hope your weekend is a good one so far. Mine is definitely busy, but I guess that's just a continuation of a busy week! A friend from work and I joined a gym and have been doing classes in the evenings. She's trying to get ready for a trip and I'm just trying to start making some healthy habits. Tomorrow I start trying to make better choices with my food, wish me luck! : ) Sorry for all the babble, I guess I'm trying to hold myself accountable somehow!

Now that's out of the way, I did get some stamping time this afternoon. I LOVE Tiddly Inks images, unfortunately, my printer is finicky about whether it will print on the thicker paper, you just never know... grr... So I was so excited when they started carrying clear stamps in the store and picked up a few recently.

I colored Wryn with my Copics and paired her up with some Bo Bunny papers, I'm not sure which collection, it was in a special pack I got at Archivers. I used Deconstructed Sketch #83 for the layout. I love sketches and have been wanting to play with this one since I first saw it. The sentiment is from the same set as Wryn. I feel like I can't put my Stickles down lately, some more is added to her heart flowers. The ribbon is from a past KI kit.

Well, that's all for today, I'll be back tomorrow with my CCC card. Thanks for looking!

I'm also entering this card in Tiddly Inks Challenge #101: Anything goes

Joy

Happy Sunday, I hope your weekend is going well! The kids got their flu shots on Friday and Bailey had a fever yesterday from it. She was one grouchy little girl! No stamp time for mom this weekend so far, hopefully today will be better and that will change! Luckily I had time earlier in the week, because there's a new Christmas Card Challenge today: rip it, tear it, sand it.

I had a lot of fun with this challenge and really love how my card came out! I used a super cute image from CC Designs and colored them with my copics. The joy sentiment is from Papertrey ink. I tore some of the papers from WeRMemoryKeepers Winter Frost for the snowbanks behind them and added Stickles to the torn edges to make it a pretty snow :) The snowflake is from CTMH, I'm proud I'm finally starting to use these more, I've been hoarding them for years!

The layout of the card is Mojo Monday #274, just flipped around.

Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to join in with Christmas Card Challenges!

Fairy Birthday

Hello! I thought I'd stop in share a card I made this week for a co-worker to give her granddaughter for her 2nd birthday.

I printed this adorable digi image from Sugar Nellie and colored her in with my copics. I added bling to her flowers and wings, although the pics really don't show it! The paper is an old pack from CTMH, I don't even remember its name anymore. I used The Sweet Stop sketch 191 for the layout. I scored the cute crochet flower at my local scrapbook store for 80% off on New Years, woo hoo! Just some misc ribbon and CTMH brads to finish it off!

I'm also entering this card into Simon Says Stamp something new challenge. (the pretty flower!)
As always, thanks for looking!

Rejoice

Hello and happy 2013!  I'm kicking off the new year with ABC Challenges. Our next challenge is E for Embossing.

Two of our friends from church were married on Sunday and this is the card I made for them. I used a CTMH stamp and silver embossing powder to make the background panel. I stamped a verse from Verve stamps onto some WeR Memory Keepers Winter Frost paper. Some ribbon and a CTMH crochet flower, button, and some pearls finished it off.

Thanks for looking, I hope 2013 is a great one for you and your family! I hope you are able to play along with us all at ABC Challenges!

I'm entering this card into Dutch Dare Challenges: Celebration (yay, a wedding!)
