To Die For

Hello again! It's time for another Christmas Card Challenge, and this one's To Die For. Use any of the great dies you have lying around. Easy enough, right? Check out all the details on the CCC blog!

For my card I used a few different dies. The tag is a die from Sizzix and I layered 2 snowflakes dies from Taylored Expressions over a circle from Spellbinders. Although there are a couple lace border dies I've been eyeballing, the border is one of my trusty Martha Stewart punches. Although it isn't traditional I think blue and brown is one of my favorite Christmas color combos. The paper is from CTMH Aspen. The main sentiment is from Verve and the Christmas Blessings is from Taylored Expressions. Some misc ribbon, twine, and pearl sticker finish it off. I used Mojo Monday #270 for the sketch.

As always, thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along!

I'm also entering this card into Sweet Stampin's challenge to use punches or dies (great minds think alike!) and Fab n' Funky's challenge non-traditional Christmas

Peace & Joy

Hello again! I am very excited about today's post. It's my first as a design team member for Christmas Card Challenges! I have always started the year with intentions of staying ahead on my Christmas cards, but it never seems to happen. That's why this challenge is great, to keep people like me inspired when Christmas seems far away.

This week's challenge is a sketch, but remember, all challenges are optional, just make a holiday card to join.

I kept this card simple and flat to make it easier to mail. The paper and sentiment is all from the Simple Stories Handmade Holiday. I love the sheets of tags that come with the paper packs, they make no-stamp cards so easy! I just added a die cut star and some simple sheer ribbon.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to join in!

Clear It Out!

Hello! Oh my goodness, where did November go?? Although I can hardly believe it, it's December 1st already. At least that means it's time for another ABC Challenge. We have a good one for you- Clear It Out... use up some of the stash you've been hoarding!

I bought this card kit from Taylored Expressions last winter to make my family's Christmas cards. But after making cards for my mom and grandmas to give out, I ran out of time. I had the paper all cut, but never got the cards together... but not this year!

I used this sweet image from Stamp Fairy (who by the way are sponsoring the challenge, yay) I colored her with Copics and added Stickles to her hat and the string of lights for some bling. The snowflake button, paper, ribbon, and pearls are all from the TE card kit.

Thanks for looking, I hope you have a chance to play along!

I'm entering this card into Cute Card Thursday #245: Snowflakes and Stampin' Sisters in Christ #167: to make a Christmas card. It's their last challenge which bums me out, but I definitely understand why. Thanks for all the great challenges!

Butterfly Wishes

Hello everyone! November is halfway over already, which means it's time for another ABC Challenge. We're on to B for Butterfly and this challenge is sponsored by Bunny Zoe's!

I apologize right now for my pictures... I made this card for our little neighbor girl's birthday. She's Bailey's age and they are buddies. The first thing I hear when we pull in the garage at night is usually "I wanna see Aswyn" (that's how Bailey says Ashlyn, lol) I had to hurry up and take a quick picture of the card so Bailey and Caleb could take the gift over!

The butterfly is an Ippity stamp. I added Stickles and Spica glitter pen to the dots for a little bling and the sentiment is from AmyR stamps. The patterned paper is from Echo Park... hey I remembered the paper pack for once!

I hope you have a chance to play along. Check out the other DT creations over at ABC Challenges and link your card for the chance to win! Thanks for looking!

Angel of Appreciation

Hello! I hope you had a great Halloween, I know my kids had fun, and I'm happily confiscating candy : ) Now that we've said goodbye to October it's time for another ABC Challenge. We're back at the beginning with A for Appreciation. We're sponsored again by the super cute Stamp Fairy.

I started with a sweet Stamp Fairy angel that I colored with my Copics. I thought she'd be perfect for a Christmas thank you card. The paper and pearls are from last years Christmas card kit from Taylored Expressions- I'm blanking on the name of the paper right now, I'll have to get back to you on that... The ribbon is from a past KI kit.

Thanks for looking. Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team creations and the challenge blog, I hope you have a chance to play along!
